Want to start a Sustainability Club at your school?

It would be a great way to start educating your peers and peak their interest in sustainability! This website is full of resources and sustainable project ideas just waiting to be accomplished at your school. The best place to start would be recycling. Make sure students know what can be recycled and the importance of it. But first, make sure your school has recycling picked up! Learn about recycling here!

Students for Sustainability dedicates itself to educating others about the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling and how they can implement these principles in their daily life, at home, and at school.

Knowing where your food comes from is important knowledge when choosing what food to eat, and what companies to support. Also, learning to appreciate the work, energy, and water put into food production we hope to lessen the amount of food waste people produce.
Concepts of social sustainability are very easily introduced to others through community services, such as food drives or clothing upcycles. A big part of our club revolves around helping the community.
